New Place – New Beginnings
After nearly 4 years of working with Crytek in Germany I have finally decided to move on. It has been an amazing opportunity to work with such an amazingly talented group of people. I cannot describe just how much I learned and how thankful I am for having had such an opportunity to work on some of the most ground breaking game titles in the world while also experiencing the life in Europe and Germany. I look forward to seeing what will come next from Crytek as I am sure they will aim for nothing less then to yet again break all the possible grounds of innovation and exceptional quality.
And so move i did, back to Canada, but this time to the beautiful West Coast of British Columbia – Vancouver city! I think i get why this city has been rated as one of the best places to live at in the world! The natural beauty of it’s mountains, the ocean, the incredibly clean streets, smiling faces, and a vibrant city atmosphere are just the topping to this truly remarkable place.
And, to top it all of, starting this past January I have decided to finally start upon my journey towards animating by starting my studies in Jason Ryan’s newly formed school iAnimate.net! I have already finished Part 1 of the first workshop, and I can’t start to describe just how much I have learned. It is an amazing school, and I can highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in finding alternatives to Animation Mentor. The teachers are top of the line pros, the students are incredibly encouraging, and the resources are simply endless. I will be posting my results from the last month in the near future, so keep an eye out!
