New Job – MPC Vancouver
So, now for another important update! It has been in the works for the last month and a little, but now it is official – I am starting my first Feature Film job with the Moving Picture Company (the VFX shop behind many of the effects from such films as “Harry Potter”, “Watchmen”, “Sucker Punch”, “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”, and many others) at their Vancouver office as a Rigging TD. In fact, I have just finished my first week at work, and I cannot describe just how awesome it is. I feel so humbled and lucky to work along the side of these incredibly talented and experienced people. I am still learning the ropes, but already had a chance to start contributing to the development of some pretty exciting films. This is definitely a whole other level of rigging than what I have been used to, and I can’t wait to get back to learning more and more.
